This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand how Safe Technology Inc. and its subsidiaries representatives affiliates officers and directors (collectively “Safe” “we” “us” or “our”) uses and shares some of your personal information as you use the Safe App and Website (collectively the “Safe Platform”).

Scope of Policy: This policy applies to all Safe users including Riders Drivers (including Driver applicants) and to all Safe platforms and services including our applications websites technology facilities and other services (collectively the “Safe Platform”). It pertains exclusively to personal information and does not cover aggregate information or data that cannot identify you. Your use of the Safe Platform is also governed by our Terms of Service. Specific elements of the Safe Platform may be subject to separate or additional terms or practices which will be communicated to you separately for your understanding and compliance.

Personal Data Collected: Personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) is any information collected by us or provided by you that with reasonable efforts could be used to identify you. Personally identifiable information includes the information you give to us directly the information we automatically collect and when applicable information supplied to us by third parties. Specifically we may collect the following types of information:

Information that directly identifies you such as your name age postal address email address and phone number;
Information from surveys contests and questionnaires such as your age date of birth gender interests lifestyle income race hobbies employment history educational history and social media details;
Information you share in our public forums through photographs comments uploads feedback reviews testimonials and original content;
Information regarding your requests for services or assistance;
Information about your geographic location;
Information about your purchases on our App or Website;
Analytics about you as a user such as the type of device you use your internet connection and your preferences; and
Analytics about you as a user such as the type of device you use your internet connection your phone number and your preferences which may include additional metadata like photos address information video and audio files on your mobile phone with your permission.

How We Collect Your Information: We collect this information in the following ways: directly from you; automatically using technology like cookies web bugs and other web technologies; and directly from our partners and vendors.

Information Directly from You: As you use the Safe Platform information we collect directly from you includes information provided in response to our direct request for your name age postal address email address and phone number. We may also collect information that you provide in correspondence with our company. In addition when you fill out a form complete a survey sign up for an email list make a purchase share content leave a comment on one of our boards or engage in other similar interactions you are directly providing us with your personal information. If you decide to register for an account with us to access additional resources services and goods on our App you will be asked to complete a form requesting information such as your name and email address in order to create a user account. You will be given the option to upload a photograph for your account. Your information may become public if you share content or opinions on public areas of the App. Any contributions you post as a user are at your own risk. As a company we may restrict access to certain portions of our site however we strongly encourage you to carefully consider what you share publicly and with whom you share it. If you share information publicly we cannot guarantee that third parties will not have access to the information.

Do Not Track: Browsers and devices allow individuals to send “do not track” signals to websites. At this time we do not take actions to respond to “do not track” signals.

Information From Third Parties: In some instances we may receive information from our third-party partners and vendors about our users. We may also incorporate third-party marketing and analytic services such as Google Analytics to help us analyze how our App is being used. Our Privacy Policy only governs Safe’s use of your information; however we may use these third-party services to analyze and enhance your experience.

How We Use Your Information: We collect and use information from you for the following purposes:

To operate and maintain the Safe Platform;
To present our content to you through the Safe Platform;
To communicate with you;
To fulfill our obligations to you as presented when you provided the information;
To notify you about changes to the Safe Platform;
To enhance and optimize your experience;
For any other purpose within your consent.

In some instances we also use information to contact you about goods and services that you may find valuable; however if you would not like to receive information about ongoing promotions or tools we believe are relevant to you please contact us at contact@safetechnologygroup.com.

Targeted Advertising: When you visit our site the data collected by cookies during your visit may also be used to advertise to you. How We Share Your Information: Though we do not sell or disclose the personal information we collect in the ordinary course of our business we may share your data with third parties in accordance with the purposes described above. However we may need to share your personal information with third parties to deliver relevant personalized ads to you on and off the Safe Platform. Some of these disclosures may constitute “sharing” or the “sale” of personal information for “targeted advertising” purposes under certain local (e.g. U.S. state) privacy laws.

Partner Disclosures: Depending on whether you’re a Rider or a Driver Safe may disclose the following categories of your personal information to provide you with a variety of the Safe Platform’s features and services:

Personal identifiers such as your name address email address phone number date of birth government identification number (such as social security number) driver’s license information vehicle information and car insurance information;
Financial information such as bank routing numbers tax information and any other payment information you provide us;
Commercial information such as ride information Driver/Rider statistics and feedback and Driver/Rider transaction history;
Internet or other electronic network activity information such as your IP address type of browser version of operating system carrier and/or manufacturer device identifiers and mobile and other forms of advertising identifiers;
Location data; and
This and other information you may direct us to disclose to other parties such as when you choose to link your Safe account with a separate travel rewards program or when you choose to engage with an offering from another company through the Safe Platform such as a vehicle service.

We disclose those categories of personal information to these other parties and service providers to fulfill the following purposes:

Maintaining and servicing your account
Processing or fulfilling rides or other offerings of the Safe Platform;
Providing you customer service;
Processing transactions and payments;
Processing Driver applications;
Verifying the identity of users;
Detecting and preventing fraud and unsafe activity;
Processing insurance claims;
Providing Driver loyalty and promotional programs;
Providing marketing and advertising services to Safe including to provide targeted and cross-contextual behavioral advertising personalized to you;
Providing financing;
Providing requested emergency services;
Providing analytics services to and by Safe; and
Undertaking research to develop and improve the Safe Platform.

For Legal Reasons to Protect the Safe Platform: We may disclose your personal information in response to a legal obligation or if we have determined that disclosing your personal information is reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with any applicable federal state or local law or regulation civil criminal or regulatory inquiry investigation or legal process enforceable governmental request or requirement as a condition to operate (e.g. operating permit license or agreement); respond to legal process (such as a search warrant subpoena summons or court order); enforce our Terms of Service; cooperate with law enforcement agencies concerning conduct or activity that we reasonably and in good faith believe may violate federal state or local law; or exercise or defend legal claims protect against harm to our rights property interests or safety or the rights property interests or safety of you third parties or the public as required or permitted by law.

In Connection with Sale or Merger: Additionally in the course of business if we buy or sell business assets or participate in a company sale merger reorganization or dissolution the data we have collected may be part of such business transfers.

Upon Your Further Direction: With your permission or upon your direction we may disclose your personal information to interact with a third party or for other purposes.

How We Protect Your Information: As a company the protection of your information is important to us. We have designed and adopted technological and organizational procedures to safeguard your data. It is important to note that while we make efforts to protect your data security measures are not impenetrable. As a result we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information collected or transmitted to our App or Website. By using the Safe Platform you consent to the transmission of your data at your own risk. Additionally if you have registered for an account on the Safe Platform you should not share your password or username with any other third parties. It is your responsibility to keep this information confidential.

California and Other State Privacy Laws: If you reside in California or certain other states (including those listed below) you may have rights under applicable state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively "CPRA") the Colorado Privacy Act ("CPA") the Connecticut Data Privacy Act ("CTDPA") or the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (“VCDPA”) (collectively "State Privacy Law" or "State Privacy Laws").

Right to Know:

California Colorado Connecticut and Virginia residents have the right to know what categories of Personal Data have been collected about them and whether such Personal Data has been disclosed or sold for a business purpose in the past 12 months.

Safe retains this Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and agreements between Safe and its Customers and affiliates. For a description of the categories of Personal Data that Safe has disclosed for a business purpose in the past 12 months see the section above entitled How We Collect Your Information.
Safe does not sell your Personal Data. However Safe may share Site Visitors' cookies data for the purposes of cross-contextual behavioral advertising. When required by applicable State Privacy Law we present a banner which enables Site Visitors to exercise their applicable opt-out rights relating to such processing including "Do Not Share" in California. Please click on the opt-out button if you would like to opt out of such processing. California Colorado Connecticut and Virginia residents have the right to request access to their Personal Data. California Colorado Connecticut and Virginia residents have the right to request the deletion of certain Personal Data.
Safe enforces a strict non-discrimination policy when you exercise your rights.
Prior to processing the sensitive personal information of Colorado Connecticut or Virginia Consumers Safe obtains Consumer consent except for in circumstances where an exemption applies under the applicable State Privacy Law. Safe may process the sensitive personal information of Colorado Connecticut or Virginia Consumers including the following categories: racial or ethnic origin health sexual orientation and citizenship or immigration status. California residents have the right to limit processing of sensitive personal information under the CPRA. Safe may process the sensitive personal information of California Consumers as defined under California law including the following categories: (1) racial or ethnic origin (2) health (3) sexual orientation (4) social security number driver’s license state identification card or passport number and (5) account log-in in combination with the credentials allowing access to an account. Safe uses such sensitive personal information only for the following purposes: to the extent it is necessary to perform the services reasonably expected by the average Consumer who requested them; to help ensure security and integrity to the extent the use of the Consumer's personal information is reasonably necessary and proportionate for these purposes; and performing services on behalf of the business including maintaining or servicing accounts providing customer service processing or fulfilling orders and transactions verifying customer information processing payments or providing similar services on behalf of the business.

Safe will help you exercise these rights free of charge where applicable. Submitting a request via our support portal is the best way to contact us; you may also submit a request via email at contact@safetechnologygroup.com. If you make a request under a State Privacy Law we may need to take additional steps to verify your identity. If you designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf we may require you to provide the authorized agent written permission to do so and to verify your own identity directly with us.

Age Limits for Children: Children under the age of eighteen are prohibited from accessing the App. Additionally we do not use our site to knowingly collect personal information from children. Please contact us if you learn or have reason to suspect that a child under the age of eighteen is using the App and Website. We will take prompt action to delete any personal information about the child.

Correcting or Updating Your Information: If you discover that inaccurate information about you has been collected or if you would like to update the information we currently have through your account settings.

Updates to This Policy:We may update this policy from time to time. If any updates are made to this policy, they will be posted here. Additionally, if material changes are made to this policy, we will notify you via a notice to this App, and registered users will receive an additional email. Please check this page frequently for updates.

The Information We Collect When you use the Safe Platform we collect various types of information about you:

A. Information You Provide to Us Account Registration: When you create a Safe account we collect information such as your name email address phone number birth date profile photo and payment information. You may choose to provide additional information for your Rider profile such as saved addresses (e.g. home or work) and preferences (like preferred pronouns). For Drivers we collect information like government identification (e.g. driver’s license) vehicle details insurance information and payment details.

Ratings and Feedback: When you provide ratings and feedback about the Safe Platform (including other users) we collect the information you provide.

Communications: We collect information from your communications with us including through surveys or research projects.

B. Information We Collect When You Use the Safe Platform Location Information: Depending on your app settings and permissions we collect precise location data (including GPS and WiFi data IP address and Bluetooth data). This is essential for services like matching Riders with Drivers.

Usage Information: We collect details about your interactions with the Safe Platform such as ride details (date time destination distance route payment) and interactions with our apps and websites.

Device Information: We gather information about the devices you use to access the Safe Platform including device model IP address browser type operating system version carrier identity manufacturer radio type (e.g. 4G) and device identifiers.

C. Information We Collect From Other Sources We may receive information about you from service providers and other sources necessary to enhance your Safe experience such as background check providers insurance partners and marketing providers.

How We Use Your Information: We use your personal information to:

Provide and optimize the Safe Platform; Ensure the security and safety of our users; Enhance community engagement; Offer customer support; Improve our services; and Comply with legal obligations.

How We Disclose Your Information We do not sell your personal information. However we may share it with third parties for specific purposes such as providing services marketing and operational purposes.

A. Sharing Between Safe Users Riders and Drivers: We share necessary information between Riders and Drivers to facilitate rides including names profile photos and location details.

B. Disclosures to Service Providers and Other Parties We disclose personal information to service providers and other parties to deliver Safe Platform features and services such as processing payments conducting background checks and providing customer support.

C. Legal and Safety Disclosures We may disclose personal information in response to legal requests or obligations to protect our rights and safety or to enforce our Terms of Service.

How We Store and Protect Your Information We retain your information as long as necessary to provide the Safe Platform and fulfill legal obligations. We employ reasonable security measures to protect your personal information although no method of transmission or storage is entirely secure.

Your Rights And Choices Regarding Your Data Safe provides options for you to access correct or delete your personal information and to manage your communications preferences.

A. All Users: You can manage email subscriptions opt-out of text messages and control push notifications through your account settings.

B. Location-Specific Rights Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional rights concerning their personal information. Please refer to our privacy page for details.

Children’s Data Safe does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 years of age.

Links to Third-Party Websites the Safe Platform may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and we recommend reviewing their policies directly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this policy periodically as our services evolve and privacy laws change. We will notify you of material changes through the Safe Platform or other means.
